The best pizza place ever. A classic. Grew up eating it, every time I come to Capital Hill I have to grab some. Recommend the green pizza (pesto).

Best in the area, and yet!!!!! Their combo pizza had very little on it - I was a little confused, but it was yummy nonetheless. Ordered delivery, it arrived hot and steamy! All in all, good pizza, would go back, would recommend, but probably not the best you'll ever have

5 stars for my favorite pizza in Seattle. Having said that, I hope they read reviews because the crust on my last visit was not good. It was...bready. I'm hoping it was an off night, perhaps a new Pizzaiolo not yet familiar with how things are done. Over the years this place has been superlative and I'd gladly sacrifice the requisite number of goats to the pizza gods for a slice of Hot Mama's.

Aimlessly wandering through downtown Seattle, I ended up in Seattles version of Capitol Hill. I noticed what appeared to be a walk up pizza joint and did a quick search on Yelp....I saw reviews such as $4 a slice and said...yup let's get it. There were roughly 5 options to choose from at the time but it was something about this pesto pizza in the far left that I had to try...I asked if the pizza needed warming and the gentleman stated "it's still pretty hot"...enough said...no warming needed, perfect temp, and great taste. I'd certainly return and strongly recommend. There is seating on the side of the establishment...it's simply a dice pizza joint. Service was quick and easy...you are in and out very quickly. Give it a go if you are near and around Capitol Hill

Pick up window at Hot mama's pizza, I love this vibe. Hot mama's pizza slice is $4 & their large slices. Other places I've tried run about 5-6 bucks per slice. I just moved to Seattle and it's been a struggle finding good pizza + a good price point. I enjoy New York style pizza and this is almost right up there. Hot mama's top 5 on my pizza list.

Hot Mama's Pizza is a favorite spot of mine in Capitol Hill. Whether it's 5 PM and you in need a pre-dinner bite, or it's 11 PM and you've had several drinks, this always hits the spot. The pizza is a great price, which an incredibly fluffy yet crispy crust. I love their selection of pizzas, and look forward to trying some other varieties. Definitely a must-try if you're in Capitol Hill!

Food: We got cheese and 2 pepperoni slices. The pizza was good and the slice size was large (think NY style) with good crust. Is it my favorite pizza in the whole area? No. But it's open late and sells by the slice and is pretty good and fresh despite that. Service: The ordering was a bit confusing because you walk up to the window to order but there's not a clear Line Starts Here spot. It was a minor hiccup but we had lines going on both sides of the window at one point and had to go to the back of the other line when they realized. Servers were speedy, though not particularly friendly or rude. Just serving pizza efficiently. Ambiance: This is take out only - you order from the window and pick up at the window. There's no inside. There's no outside tables, except sometimes during the day in the summer. By night, just a pizza window - which is exactly what we were looking for on our way home.
